![]() Can you please tell me if it is possible to create parent/child type sheet. I need a part number like CAT1234 with a + before or after it and the when I click on the + I get a list of child parts relating to the parent part number (similar to the way it works within MS Project. I would be very grateful for any help. ![]() I think this may be the simplest approach: Set up a parts table where Column1 contains the System Number and Column 2 contains the Components. Be sure to use column headings. Then create a Pivot Table, based on that list, whe ROWS: System Numbers DATA: Count of Components That should generate a Pivot Table that lists all of your Systems. When you double click on the "count of Components" for any System, Excel will create a new worksheet that lists all of the Components for that System. Is that something you can work with?
