Your cell was probably formatted as text before you entered the formula.
Format as General or Number and re-enter the formula (F2, ENTER) -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Dimetre" wrote in message ... when i type the formula in the cell j5 =k3-100 it does not display changes when i try to input a value in k3 the formula is still displayed at j5 and does not show the answer there. help pls |
