copy/paste vaules, not formulas
Is there an easier way to copy and paste the values of a cell without using
notepad? When i paste directly to new column the formulas get copied--i only want to paste the final values... Makes sense? Jeremy -- Message posted via http://www.officekb.com |

see http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel...houtformatting for five methods more detail on the above page. 1) paste to formula bar, 2) use notepad, 3) Edit, Paste Special, values, 4) use Steve Miller's "Pure Text", 5) use a macro --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "jeremy via OfficeKB.com" wrote in message ...
