How do I continue a formula into inserted rows?

Just copy the formula up or down into the inserted row. Excel will make the
adjustments for row reference.
To test this place a formula in a blank cell =(A1+B1). Now copy this cell
and paste it in another cell. You will see the references change to sum the
two cells to the left of your formula.
