I am using Excel 2003. I have linked my working workbook (A) with another
workbook (B) containing a lookuptable consisting of 11 900 lines and 7 columns. I am using a combobox with a range called AreaList in (B). Then the index number generated by selecting an item in the dropdown list, is used as a lookupvalue by another cell in Workbook (A) to determine a corresponding value from the lookuptable in (B). When trying to save Workbook (A), I am receiving an error message "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close othe applications". The only application open at this point in time is Excel. Is the Workbook (B) to which the combobox is linked with a lookup formula using a lookuptable in (B) too big (11 900 X 7)? -- Tobie Hanekom |
