How can I use Lotus 123 comands?; can I format Excel to do so?

I was able to use the 'transition' app when I was using Excel 2000, but I
would like to continue to use the Lotus 1-2-3 commands,, formulas, etc. while
using Excel 2007 and the Beta version of Excel 2010...

Please help as soon as possible...

Thank you very much...

....thank you ever so much Gord Dibben...

....the only thing is what boxes do I 'check'?... (they have three (3) boxers
in all: 1.) Transition Navigation Keys, 2.) Transition Formula Evaluation,
and 3.) Transition Formula Entry)...

....I would just like to use the 'slash' {/} key, and in the past, when I'd
use Excel 2000, one I hit the / key, than my various Menus would appear, for
example:
/ (which would bring up a Menu, and then if I hit 'F', the 'F' would
represent 'File', and if I then hit 'R', the 'R' would represent 'Retrieve',
therefore /FR would be 'Menu', 'File', 'Retrieve' in Lotus 1-2-3 language and
'/DSR' would be be 'Menu', 'Data', 'Sort', 'Range', etc., etc.

....could you (or anyone else) help me futher here?...

....again, thank you very much...

....I greatly appreciate it!...

Above those 3 transition options is a dialog for Microsoft Excel Menu Key.

Enter the slash key in that dialog.

Now when on a sheet hit the / and you will see a bunch of letters up on the
ribbon and numbers on the QAT

So for File menu you would hit /,F,O for open

Data menu /,A,S for Sort
