Hi,
Since you are using Excel why not learn Excel's command for moving to cell A1? Ctrl+Home. In Excel Home moves the cursor to the first cell of the current row - sometimes useful. And Ctrl+Home move to the top left corner of the spreadsheet - the equivalent of the Lotus 1-2-3 Home key. You should start using the Excel keyboard shortcut because it works the same in Word, Access, MS Project and some places in PowerPoint. And in those programs you can change to 1-2-3 equivalents. When you turn transision keys on you also change the behavior of other keys: 1-2-3 Excel Tab Alt+PgDn Shift+Tab Alt+PgUp Ctrl+Home Home Home Ctrl+Home -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "joyce" wrote: how do i get the home key to work. excel 2003 did it in tools/transition |
