Default Preventing

Dear sir, with best regards,i have some special workbooks,like to prevent
anyone for copying or transfering datas from them or their sheets. is it
possible in excel 2003.

You can apply a password and protection to your spreadsheet; however it is
not difficult to circumvent passwords in Excel.

If you have data that must be kept secret, do not distribute it in Excel!

Even if you wrote a macro that disabled the copy Toolbar button or used an
onsheet event to capture right-click event , these will not work if the
security level is raised to high ie all macros will be disabled.
I think the only way to protect the data is to password protect the workbook
so that only authorised personnel can see it.

Dear sir,with my thanks,i have to copy my workbook daily to my manager ,i
protect all the formulas and necessary cells which appear in sheets by
password ,i need to protect copying sheets and transferring data by others
from his copy not from mine .

You send a copy to your Manager.

It then becomes the Manager's responsiblity to prevent access to that
workbook.

If using the Windows or Vista OS there are methods of setting permissions to
access files and folders.

If a user can access the workbooks, you cannot prevent copying.
