Protecting Formulas
I have a formula in a cell which is copied to several other cells for future
calculations. How do I prevent the formulas in those cells from being erased? I am preparing this for others to use. Thanks in advance. /keith |

Hi Keith
the only method is to protect the worksheet ... basically you have to unlock the cells you want people to get to (select them and choose format / cell / protection tab and untick locked) then you have to protect the worksheet tools /protection / protect sheet - use a password if you want to stop people from unprotecting the sheet themselves - however, do be aware that it takes one website and about 2 mins to break the passwords on worksheet & workbook protection. -- Cheers JulieD check out www.hcts.net.au/tipsandtricks.htm ....well i'm working on it anyway "Keith Camacho" wrote in message nk.net...
