Default pivot tables,

hi guys,

i read the tutorial on pivot table on microsoft online,
and im trying to to it.

so lets say i have 3 columns (name, Date of birth, Number) and i have 3
friends, (a,b,c)

so my problem is this, when i creat the table and go to click the checkbox
for name everything is ok, BUT when I click the checkbox for DOB or Number, I
get the info inserted on the same column for Name,....its supposed to insert
it in the column next to it!!

can anyone help

Thank you l
