How do I get a cell to automatically resize itself when you paste text that
extends beyond the cell after changing the allignment to "wrap text"?

Try paste special - radio button, values, ok

i'm assuming you'd already formatted cell to wrap

Hi,

The problem is that you are copying the cell format from the original cell
which is wiping out the wrap text formatting in the target cell. By using
Paste Special, Values or Formulas, you will not copy the format.

Try placing the cursor in the cell where you want the merging to start and
Clicking ALT+ENTER
