Default entering partial text

either from a drop down list or otherwise, I would like to be able to select
the beginning of my text entry (ex: reseach of ) and then be able to complete
the text entry. I currently am using a validated drop down menu but it will
not allow modificaiton of the entry.

You need a combobox for this.

See Debra Dalgleish's site for more.
