Color Scale Issue 2007 to 2003
I am using Excel 2007 and utililize fill colors to color code various reports
which are sent to users running Excel 2003. I am saving these files in compatibility mode before sending them out. I am having problems with the fill colors I am using in 2007 not displaying correctly when viewed by 2003 users. Is there anyway I can utilize the Excel 2003 color scale in Excel 2007 so that the fill colors display correctly when viewed in Excel 2003? -- Jim |

Color Scale Issue 2007 to 2003
I haven't tried this, so I'm not sure if it will work, but my suggestion is:
have a user send you an excel file created in excel 2003. Open this file using Excel 2007. Then, go to Tools - Options - Color tab, and highlight the open worksheet in the "Copy colors from" dropdown menu. I imagine this will get you a set of excel 2003 compatible colors. -- Anne Murray "Jim" wrote: I am using Excel 2007 and utililize fill colors to color code various reports which are sent to users running Excel 2003.
