lost gridlines
Why do I lose my gridlines when I apply background color to a block of
rows? And why do I not get them back when I change the color back to the usual white Background. Is there a options setting I can use to prevent this action? Thanks for the info Joanne |

The colour covers the gridlines and so you 'lose' them. White is also a
backgroud colour so you also 'lose' them when you apply a white background - use 'No Fill' instead. -- HTH Sandy In Perth, the ancient capital of Scotland and the crowning place of kings Replace @mailinator.com with @tiscali.co.uk "Joanne" wrote in message ... To add to Sandy's answer: If you want 'gridlines' after using a fill you
will need to add borders to the cells best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Joanne" wrote in message ...
