How do I change a cell in Excel 2003 (Office 2003) which has an e-mail
address in it from automatically sending a message to that address? I really only want to use the e-mail address as text as a default condition. So that when a click is made on that cell it does not set up for a message. |

For a single cell:
- Right-click and select "Remove Hyperlink". For multiple cells: - Enter a 1 into any blank cell - Copy that cell - Select all cells containing hyperlinks - From the EDIT Menu, choose "Paste Special" - Check the "Multiply" option - Click OK - Delete the 1 you entered originally To prevent future cells from becoming Hyperlinks: - From the TOOLS Menu, choose "AutoCorrect Options" - Select the "Autoformat As You Type" Tab - Uncheck "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" - Click OK HTH, Elkar "Gene D" wrote: How do I change a cell in Excel 2003 (Office 2003) which has an e-mail address in it from automatically sending a message to that address?
