I have a a worksheet in my spreadsheet that I get through an SQL database using "Data/Connections". I want to convert all the data on this spreadsheet in a "table" format so that I can do the sorting but this option is grayed out on this worksheet. For all other worksheets in the spreadsheet this option is present
I believe it has something to do with the way I am getting this data in this worksheet. I tried copying this data into new spreadsheet but still can't get the "Table" option back on the ribbon. I will appreciate any help. Thanks TX Bernard Liengme wrote: Glad to help. We are all 'stupid' at one time or another. 07-Sep-07 Glad to help. I am running MS Office Home and Student 2007 on Windows XP and am having issues with excel 2007. I believe there is suppose to be a tab titled 'table tools design' that appears when I click anywhere on the table. However, for some reason this tab does not appear when i click on the table. I recently had an addin (mindjet manager), which i have removed as i thought there might have been a conflict, but still nothing. I can see the tab in word 2007 but just not excel. Any help massively appreciated.. With kind regards.
