try highlighting the one column you want to sort on and then click on sort.
you should get a dialogue box asking if you want to expand the selection or click on a cell in the data and use the data/sort option John MOS Master Instructor Office 2000, 2002 & 2003 Please reply & rate any replies you get Ice Hockey rules (especially the Wightlink Raiders) "Paul" wrote: A B C D E 1 $0.01 1200 $12.00 0.0002 2 0.03 120000 $3,600.00 0.8889 3 0.45 100 $45.00 0.0006 4 1 44000 $44,000.00 0.6001 5 4.5 900 $4,050.00 0.0552 6 0.9 350 $315.00 0.0043 7 0.3 70000 $21,000.00 0.2864 8 1.5 200 $300.00 0.0041 $73,322.00 When i sort a column the row data does not follow.I have tried grouping but does not seem to work.What am I doing wrong? I have just tried it with out the same error.
I had the total in E10 and used =D1/$E$10 in cell E1 and then filled it down. Then used the data menu and sort with out any probs.
