Default limited data entry

Would like to limit data entry to 5 columns and automatically position to
first column in the next row to continue entries.

Default limited data entry

Select columns A:E and FormatCellsProtection and de-select "locked"

ToolsProtectionProtect sheet. Uncheck "select locked cells" and OK. Set a
Password if you require one.

Then ToolsOptionsEdit. Set "move selection after enter" to right or use the
Tab key to move to next cell across.

When you leave column E you will go back to A and down one row.
