Negative Numbers
This may sound silly, but I need to do the following:
Get Excel 2002 to accept a number -0. Yes that is minus zero. I cant just type it, Excle drops the minus sign. I assume that is because it is of no significance when doing calculations. Please Help!! Paul |
Negative Numbers

Precede with an apostrophe or pre-format the cell(s) as Text. Another option is to give the cell a custom format:
General;-General;-0 PA wrote: This may sound silly, but I need to do the following: Get Excel 2002 to accept a number -0. Yes that is minus zero. I cant just type it, Excle drops the minus sign.
