If I have a list of names (Last in one column, First in another) and fax
numbers can excel compare and update or flag the numbers that changed or names who are not on the on the first list and also flag new names? Excel 2000 but could use 2003. Thanks, Linda |

You say "compare". You also say you have "a list". What do you want Excel to compare this list to? Do you have another list? You also say "update". Do you have a master list and you want to update some other list from the master list? HTH Otto "LMB" wrote in message ... Thanks for helping me organize my question a little better. Yes, I would have another list with the same fields. This is a list of physicians in the area. We have the infomation entered but know many physicians change fax numbers, move etc....I am hoping to find a service that updates this info monthly and hopefully they can send the list in excel.
