Broken ODBC Connection
I am not sure if this is the correct location for this question but here it
goes. I have a user with several spreadsheets that update data from an odbc connection. The odbc connections are pointing to ASG Safari InfoServer (not that that matters, just an FYI). I upgraded the application, and the user can log in and connect to InfoServer, but all the odbc connections in her spreadsheets will not update data. Where in the spreadsheet (query tool) do I look to test/update my odbc connections? TIA |

Broken ODBC Connection
You need to look in the Connection property of QueryTables and
PivotCaches. Sometimes you also need to modify the SQL property of QueryTables since there is a tendency to include the name of database files in the SQL, but probably not in this case as it is a real server. If you need it I can supply a utility that will modify such properties.
