Default link to result from drop down list

How can I show the choice from a drop down list in one worksheet in a
specific cell in another worksheet?
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is the dropdown from the Forms toolbar or from the Control Toolbox?

If the former, use Format / Control / Cell Link to specify a linked
cell which will contain the index into the list. Then the formula
=INDEX(TheList, TheLinkedCell)
will give you the selected item

If the latter, name the cell you want to contain the choice and enter
that name against LinkedCell in the Properties window.
