Update Link When Worksheet Title is Changed

I have a link set up froma cell on worksheet one to worksheet two. There are
several links on worksheet one to access worksheets 2-15. If the cell is
changed (one WS 1), I would like the name of the worksheet to change too (on
any of the WS 2-15). I can get the worksheet name and cell changed by
renaming it...but without all the extra effort, can i get the worksheet link
to stay the same without relinking the two? I want the cell to continue to
go to the same worksheet, I just want the freedom to change the tab's name
without affecting which worksheet it goes to. Please help!

Thanks sooooooooooooooo much!

Are you talking about 15 worksheets within one workbook?
And formula links rather than hyperlinks?
If so, the links will automatically be changed when you change a sheet
name.

So I guess you were talking about separate workbooks (in which case you
would need the destination workbook open when changing source sheet
name or saving the source workbook with a different name, for the
change to be automatic.

If you are talking about hyperlinks then you could use worksheet
functions such as
=HYPERLINK(CELL("address",[Book1]Sheet2!A1))
