I want to move a spreadsheet, call it Sheet A.

Is there a way to determine what other sheets link to Sheet A?

If you're lucky and haven't used the exclamation point except in formulas that
link to other sheets, you could search for that.

If you're not lucky, you could move the sheet and then search for .xls or []'s.

And after you've moved the sheet (so the external links are created), you could
use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

Hi Dave,

So I am sure you understand the issue... Sheet A has data in it. I wonder
if there are other unknown Sheets which refer to/link to cells in Sheet A.

If I understand your response, it sounds like you suggest I look in Sheet A
for where links might exist, which is the opposite of what I am looking for.

I think by Sheet A you are meaning a workbook, not a worksheet within a
workbook as Dave took you to mean.

I have an alternative free utility which you can use to look in all xls
files in a directory structure, looking for links to a particular
