Default Change application to run on a hyperlink

I have on a notebook a cell with a hyperklink to a image of .jpg type. When
i click on hyperlink, excel (2003) run Internet Explorer 7 application, bat
i want to open and to run Picture Manager application as happen and run on
my desktop.
Thanks for your help

I don't know about "Picture Manager" as an application.

Does it have an option to select that gives it control over JPG
hyperlinks? Some applications, such as IrfanView, do so.
