Default Emailing an Excel Workbook with Links

Greetings,

When emailing an excel workbook with links to other workbooks, the
drive of the linked spreadsheet is being changed.
For example, the attached spreadsheet would be linked to another
spreadsheet in a shared drive, "M:...., but when the file is sent
through outlook (email) it is changing the linked drive to "C:..... I
am
not sure what is causing this issue.

Does anybody have any idea how to control this link?

Thanks,

FGJ

If the person receiving the files has all the linked to files on their PC or
server, they can do Edit, Links and repoint the links to the correct files.

This is caused when the user selects to update the workbook. To stop
this, you have a couple of simple options -tell the user not to update links
or send them a pdf of the spreadsheet.
