Win XP; Office 2003
Paste formula from linked files. This is the command I'm using: on the destination file; highlighted the cell with the formula -- click on the copy icon -- place cursor on upper left of cell, then drag to the other cell locations -- select the down arrow next to the paste icon -- paste special, select the formula and transpose boxes. This works great! It increments the formula ie. C1 to C2 etc. and the value of the source file is shown. However, when forwarding the files to someone else; she has the validation tool come up and needs to browse to the source file. How can I remove that? Another person doesn't get the validation. I have not protected the sheet... Thanks |
