Default how do you do an average for percent without putting in the perce.

I want to do an average in percentages but I do not want the percent symbol
to show in the cell. Is there a way of doing this?

If I understand you correct, the solution might be as simple as to
multiply your formula by 100. You might also need to format the cell
to, for example, Number with 2 decimal places (Format Cells
Number). If this is not sufficient to satisfy your needs, I suggest
that you explain your requirement better and include a numerical
example.

Thank you. I just multiplied my formula by 100 and changed my formatting to read number instead of percentage as you said. I thought maybe there was a way with the click of a button as there is with currency. This works.

Glad that worked for you. Perhaps there is a clever custom or other
format that would do the trick without having to multiply by 100
explicitly, but I am not aware of it. Perhaps someone else will
respond.
