Default Excel automatically inserts a formula in my sheet

HI! I am trying to update data in a sheet someone else set up and they are
not here to help. The sheet it set up to automatically calculate formulas in
cells without using =, so when I try to change the date it is read as a
formula. How can I get rid of this??

Thanks!
