With data in Column A,
In B1 enter =A1 and copy down as needed, Then, custom format Column A to perhaps mm/dd/yyyy AND Custom format Column B to perhaps hh:mm AM/PM -- HTH, RD ================================================== === Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ================================================== === "Dan B" wrote in message ... Seperate Data in one column into two columns?
This makes it look the way I want but I actually need them separated for
sorting purposes. Is there a formula that will do it. I tried to use =right(a1,10) but it just have some numbers that didn't mean anything and could not be formatted as time. Any other ideas? Thanks. Click Data Text to Columns. Click Delimited, click Next Uncheck Tab, check Space, click Finish. Regards Steve |
