Default Why won't colums add if new infor mation is added?

In my worksheet i have colums with a total on the botom. After using the
autosum it will add what is already inputed but won't update if you enter
another number.....?

1 200 1 200
2 100 2 100
3 3 500
4 200 4 200
Total 500 Total 500

Colum will not update....? I've tried error checking and still nothing
......Help?

Check the formula for the Total.

Chek that calculation is set to Automatic.

Something I've seen done is to autosum the list, but also a blank line
following the list.
Users can highlight the blank row, select insert, then enter their own
information in the newly inserted row. Totals continue to work.
