Okay...I have a list of vendors on a spreadsheet (color coded to engineers in case you are wondering why the screenshots are so wild and colorful), and when I enter an E-mail address, it automatically pops into a hyperlink. I don't want them as hyperlinks because when I go to edit or do something, it makes it hard to do so because it keeps trying to compose E-mails. I would have it as regular text, and it can be as simple as me clicking in the cell to copy the address, and when I click out of the cell, it reinstates the hyperlink. (See pic)
![]() On another spreadsheet I have, all I have to do is right click the cell and it gives an option of 'Remove Hyperlink.' ![]() But even if I choose that option, then it removes the shading, and sometimes the border also. It is really weird!! ![]() But I would even be happy if I could get that to happen and just re-shade it. this one doesn't give me that option if I right click it. (See pic) ![]() So this is a huge pain in the YOU KNOW WHAT! Anyone have any advice??? I just want to be able to 'disable' hyperlinks. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
