![]() Here is what I want to do: I have created a drop menu for cells in my worksheet so I can select an item fro the list without typing it in everytime. When I select the item from the drop menu I want the horizontally adjacent cells to be filled in automaticly with the corresponding information. Excel won't let me name more than 1 row or colum so I don't know how to do this or if it is even possible. Please help Thanks -- Spitzuser ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spitzuser's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=35652 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=554354 |

The usual method of achieving this is to use a VLOOKUP table.
See Debra Dalgleish's site for instructions on what to do and how to set up the table. http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlFunctions02.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 21 Jun 2006 18:15:04 -0500, Spitzuser wrote: Here is what I want to do: I have created a drop menu for cells in my worksheet so I can select an item fro the list without typing it in everytime.
