Default collecting data from various worksheets

hello,
can anyone help...
i need to find the top 5 performers from 8 worksheets, the only data
that is relevant to this particular search is the total of a selection
of data on each sheet. The collection of the top 5 needs then to be on
a new sheets so that it can be viewed seperately. Is there any way
that i can set this up?
Thanks
