Copy sum formula to Other columns not working
I have a table (see below) that I totaled the first column using the sum
feature. The sum forumula is Sum(B4:B15) which equals 888,834. I copied this cell and pasted to the next to columns and as you can see they have the same total number, but the formula in the cells are Sum(C4:C15) and Sum(D4:D15). I have copied the sum formula across columns before and it works and I have never seen this. If I go to each column separtely and use the sum feature, they do total correctly. Thanks for any help! Copy sum formula to Other columns not working
It sounds like you Manual Calculation turned on.
If you want the worksheet to automatically recalculate: From the Excel main menu: <tools<options<calculation tab Check: Automatic Otherwise, press the [F9] key to force recalculation. Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "Michael" wrote: Hit F9 to recalculate your sheet "lalbay" wrote: I have a table (see below) that I totaled the first column using the sum feature.
