Default Copying information from 1 WB to another and loosing style

Hi,

I have workbook with information that is set up correctly. I have to
however, copy and paste sections into a new workbook. When I paste the
information into the new WB, all of the original style, alignment and
colors, etc. are lost. Is there a way to maintain this information?

Thank you.

Instead of copy-pasting the cells, why don't you right click on the tabs you
need and Move/Copy them to the other book.

Then delete whatever it is that you don't want to keep.

If that doesn't work try, copy, then edit paste special (formats, column
widths, formulas)
