Default Pivot Table - Deleting data rows while maintaining them in the tot

I've built a pivot table where I need to delete a couple of rows that contain
summed data, while maintaining them in the "Totals" section. I've tried
hiding them, but this won't work when they use the drill to details function.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
