Try something like this:
If you are looking to count items between 5 and 10, exclusive of those numbers: =COUNTIF(Info!L5:L499,"<10")-COUNTIF(Info!L5:L499,"<=5") OR =SUMPRODUCT((Info!L5:L4995)*(Info!L5:L499<10)) If you want to include 5 and 10 in the count: =COUNTIF(Info!L5:L499,"<=10")-COUNTIF(Info!L5:L499,"<5") OR =SUMPRODUCT((Info!L5:L499=5)*(Info!L5:L499<=10)) Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "JohnD" wrote: I have the following formula in a cell; =COUNTIF(Info!L5:L499,"5<10") The criteria of the formula is to check for number between 5 & 10.
