Hello,
Is there a way to set default page settings for new workbooks? I would like to have default margins different than the standard 1.0 inch for top and bottom. |

Hi,
create and record an spreadsheet called "personal.xls" on the startup folder with the custom format that you would like to work. normaly you can find it as C:\program files\microsoft offece\office11\startup OR Create a template workbook and name it book.xlt and put it in the XLStart folder. Each time you click on the new icon on the standard toolbar, that new workbook will inherit all the settings from that template file. The personal.xls file is useful for things like common macros that the user
wants available when excel starts. But it's not used for storing these kinds of page layouts/formatting. But book.xlt would work nicely.
