Default hide specific cells in Excel

Is it possible to hide specific cells in Excel without hiding an entire
column or row?

Default hide specific cells in Excel

You can't specifically HIDE cells, but you could change the font color so
it's the same as the background. Depending on what you have in the cells,
you could use a conditional format.
