There are some ways, the fastest one for me is pressing F2, it will put the
cursor at the end of the cell contents and you can append to it. Hope this helps, Miguel. "lookatjojo0726" wrote: In Elxel is there a way to type in a cell with out deleting info that yu already have in the cell? So where you can just tab over into that cell and type what you need to type. |

Or you can just double-click the cell you want to edit - faster, I
think, if the cursor is not already on that cell. Pete |

Excel Help
Miguel,
Thank you for your post. It helped. But what are the other ways to do it. Because i work in the mortgage procesing field and we use these forms on a daily basis. Is there a way that if we tab over that we can jus type into in with out pressing f2. like some type of formula that will keep the data locked and we can jus type that inforation into. The others I know involve the mouse, one is what Pete said of double click,
and other is to click on the formula bar. I don't think that the behaviour you want can be achieved without macros, and even with that I am not sure on how to do it. Miguel.
