How can I change the default settings in the field settings? I want it to SUM
instead of COUNT. I am having to change multiple fields one at a time. Thanks. |

Usually the default setting is SUM for numbers and COUNT for text. You may
need to check that you don't have text formatted information in the columns that you use for the data. Hope this helps, Miguel. If a field contains blank cells, or cells with text, it will default to
COUNT. Otherwise, it will SUM. There's a feature that changes all the data fields to SUM, in my pivot table add-in, that you can download he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivotAddIn.html kyfriedchipper wrote: How can I change the default settings in the field settings?
