Excel functions names should be in English for all Localized versi
Hi.
Many foreign users claim that all Excel functions are poorly translated and, therefore, should not be translated at all! At least, there should have a simple option to activate the English version of the formulas names instead of the translated version! This is an old issue in Excel and maybe could be easily repaired in a future version. Using the Multilanguage version does not help as the functions are always translated... Portuguese translations, for instance, are very poor, long, hard to be remembered and used and are not standardized! Please take a look at these samples and notice the problem by yourselves: =ARREDONDAR.PARA.BAIXO =É.NÃO.DISP =ÉCÉL.VAZIA =ÉERRO instead of: =roundup =isna =isempty =iserror The first one is too long and has dots!?! The other three have no standard where the dot goes or not goes...
