I have always seen this on spreadsheets (making only cells in use
active), the cells in active are normally grey. I need your help.

I don't want to hide columns or row, i want to make the cells become
inactive. You cant click or anything and the area becomes grey.

Do you mean with "making inactive" that users cannot click/change the cells,
i.e. protecting them? If so, lock cells in Format / Cells/ Protection Tab
and if you later protect yr worksheet (Tools/Protection/Protect sheet...) the
locked cells cannot be changed until you unprotect the sheet. Note: cells
are locked by default and usually the trick is to UNLOCK the ones that may be
changed by the user.
