Default 2nd to MAX

Hi,

Please help me with a formula to get the SECOND highest number.

1, 3, 5, 7, 9

If I use the max worksheet function using the above numbers, I get 9.
What formula will I use to get "7"

Please include another formula for second to the MIN function.

Thank you.
