Default Excel sheet scroll bar options

I am trying to add a functional scroll bar in a cell of my Excel worksheet.
Is this possible?

Open the Forms command bar and drag the scroll bar on to your
sheet. Right-click it to assign properties.

I got the scroll bar in the cell but it is not functional. How do I assign
properties to allow it to scroll the info up and down the cell? Thank you
for your time!!

Donna,

Right click the control on the worksheet and choose Format
Control, then choose the Control tab. There, choose a minimum and
maximum value, and enter a cell reference in the Cell Link box.
The value of the control will automatically be placed in that
cell.

I assigned min a 1 and max at 75. I added the cell and it prompts me with a
Compile error: invalid outside procedure. Then it opens a microsoft Visual
Basic screen that I do not know what to do with. Thanks,
