Default using a formula, no's 1-443 deleting (116-124) in serval cells

need to do a spreadsheet for a sheep draw. there are 6 agents that sell with
different numbers each week. having trouble with pen allocations.

eg spreadsheet

agent, total head, number of pens, pen allocations
1 2,000 49
2 3,000 74
3 3,000 74
4 3,000 74
5 3,000 74
6 3,000 74
17,000 419

Total yarding = 17,000 that is 41 hd per pen. (using 419 pens)

need to allocate pens 1-443 (leaving out pens 116-124 and pens 153-167) nb
these pens are large pens and are used for delivery people.
Would appreciate any help

Please consider that of all the people that visit these newsgroups, you
may well be the only person who knows anything about what you are talking
about, ie, the sheep business.
What is a "sheep draw"?
What do mean by "different numbers"? Different numbers of what?
What does "pen allocations" mean? "Pen" is understood, and "allocations" is
understood, but explain "pen allocations" in your context.
You say you are having trouble with "pen allocations". Explain how you
would do the task of "pen allocations" manually without Excel.
What is "yarding"?
Please post back with a more generic explanation of what you need help with
and you will get lots of it. HTH Otto

In addition to Otto's questions you say "(leaving out pens 116-124 and pens
153-167)" but do you want an Agent's sheep to be split over the excluded
pens? For example would you want 2,000 head of sheep (in 49 pens) to be
allocated to pens 100 - 115 and 125 - 158 or all allocated to only
consecutive pens?
