I would like to be able to create a link in one cell that, when clicked, will
transfer me to another cell in the workbook. It is similar to linking footnotes in a webpage. Suppose I am collecting data and I want to make a note about an entry and I will be making several notes throughout the course of the project, I would create a worksheet at the end of the workbook titled "Notes" and I would list each note separately. I would like to create a link called "See Notes" or "See Note 1(,2,3,...)" in the cell. When I click on this link, it will transfer me to the "Notes" worksheet. On many webpages, they will place a # sub- or super-script after a sentence to indicate a footnote. When you click this #, you are directed to the corresponding footnote elsewhere on the webpage. This is what I want to be able to do within the workbook. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
