Default Display material and activity

My list has several material that can be used for different activites. What
would be the best way to display the material with each unique activities?
For discussion purposes, in Sheet 1

Material Activity

Thinner Thinning
Thinner Equipment Cleaning
Primer Metal Coating
Primer Wood Coating
Thinner Thinning
Primer Metal Coating
Enamel Metal Coating
Enamel Wood Coating

Therefore in Sheet 2, a table with two columns will contain the following
information:

Material Activity

Thinner Thinning
Thinner Equipment Cleaning
Primer Metal Coating
Primer Wood Coating
Enamel Wood Coating
Enamel Metal Coating

You can use an advanced filter to extract unqiue records.

Select the range and do datafilteradvanced filte, select copy to another
location and unique records only

Thanks for your help. Would advanced filters update Sheet 2 if I add/update
information in Sheet 1.

Hi
no, advanced filter won't update automatically. You have to rerun the
filter.

Maybe a nice addin for this:
