Default updating separate spreadsheets

You can make the same entry on multiple spreadsheets simultaneously. To
select a contiguous set of sheets, click the first tab, and then shift-click
the last tab. To select a discontiguous (?) set of sheets, click the first
one, then ctrl-click each other one you want to use.

From then on, you'll be typing into the same cell in all of them.

It takes some practice to remember to stop typing on all of them together.
If you have selected less than all of the sheets in the workbook, you can
unselect the group by clicking on a sheet that's not included. If you
selected all the sheets in the workbook, then selecting any other sheet will
unselect the group. Try it a few times so you see how it works.
